sa ta na ma

Breathe in for 20, hold for 20, exhale for 20.

One minute breathing.

I’m dying.

My mind stopped the game completely in its tracks, Ooooh, we’re not doing this, sorry.

Mouth salivating.
Heart palpitating.

“Breathe in, SA TA NA MA, hold SA TA NA MA, exhale SA TA NA MA,” the woman in white tells us from the front.

Oh. My. God.
Who does this shit?!

“If you can manage this, you can manage anything. A minimum of 11 minutes, let’s go.” She says smiling with her eyes closed.

Ok, mind, hold it together.
This can be easy.
We don’t have to make a big fuss over it.
You can overcome this.

SA TA Nah, man–

Fuck this!
Let’s get outta here NOW!

I “got through” 3 minutes and came out panting, out of sorts and, well, humbled.
The power of the mind…It reminds me of this quote:

“Both poverty and riches are the offspring of thought.”
