mac n cheese breadcrumbs

Dear future,

What do you see when you look back at me?
Is it filled with sunsets and roses and overflowing abundance?
Is it complicated like a puzzle but significant when finished?
Do you see primary colors or shades within shades?

Future, I am observing my fear now.
I see how much She steps in and plays fiddle with my decisions.
I now see that dots have been connected and throughlines are emerging:
This and this equals the other this, which is why I do that.

Future, do you see my potential?
Do you see my life as coincidences gelled together with clarity and  intention?
I’m starting to hate that word, it sounds so self-indulgent.
Purpose [what else can I use]…

How about this —
What should I know now?
What tip can you offer now?
Where are the clues, if any?
Favor me some, haha.

Here’s how I envision you:
You are my reflection smiling at me with a secret to share, possibly as simple as instructions on a Mac n’ Cheese box.

“Find your true Self, minus addiction and minus need.
There, your breadcrumbs lay for you to follow.”
